V6 Maximum Temperature Ratings

300°C

The V6 comes as stock with a maximum temperature rating of 300°C.

Temperature limited parts:

  • Aluminium HeaterBlock
  • Thermistor

Hardened steel nozzles are not suitable for use with aluminium blocks above 240°C. You will need to upgrade to a plated copper block and hot tighten at 300°C.

500°C

The V6 can be upgraded to reach 500°C.

Required upgrades:

  • Plated copper HeaterBlock
  • PT100/ PT1000

Options

  • Filament size: 1.75mm / 3.00mm
  • Nozzle size: 0.40mm
  • Voltage: 12V / 24V

Common Issues

  • Inadequate cooling and filament jamming
  • Misconfigured retraction settings
  • Nozzle blockages

  • PTFE tubing not properly inserted

Ensure proper cooling, correct slicer settings, use a high-quality filament, and configure firmware correctly.
